ABB Power Systems – Johan Sverdrup

The Johan Sverdrup oil field will be Statoils largest producing oil field. ABB Powers High voltage direct current (HVDC) power system will transmit energy over 200 kilometers from land to offshore platforms of Statoil’s Johan Sverdrup oil field development. Panama has produced a short animated infographic film to promote this $155 million order. The film is used by ABB worldwide.
